- Products I review are usually items I buy, use, and enjoy. Such reviews aren’t expressly marked (though I may casually indicate that I bought the item myself). Or, I may not.
- Occasionally, I get product review requests from companies seeking to have me review their products. Some of these requests take the form of ‘brand partnerships’ where some form of payment is made. When such reviews are published, they are clearly marked as such.
- Such payments (in item 2 above) are meant to cover logistics and shooting costs and not influence the review outcome. I remain actively neutral in the entire review process as an independent publisher.
- For companies, reaching out to me is no guarantee I’ll accept the gig. Since I’m a DIY mechanic, my focus remains on what will make the home mechanic’s life easier. Unfortunately, not every product ticks this box. I reserve the right to review (or refuse to review) a product if I determine that it isn’t a proper fit either for ThrottleHolic Auto DIY or its growing community.
- The shooting/publishing cycle runs between four (4) and six (6) weeks. In some rare cases, it can be shorter than this but is NEVER longer.
